Cluster flies, sometimes known as attic flies, are difficult to treat because they like inaccessible spaces such as roof and wall cavities, flies migrate to high spaces and breed.
They are also often seen on windows of rooms that are rarely used.
Fly infestations generally happen in the autumn months.
Please Note : It is not possible to treat for cluster flies if bats are also occupying the roof space.
Treatment – Bug Busters can help remove Fleas
Bug Busters will check your property and assess the best plan of action to deal with your fly infestation.
A fumigation in your loft space with a low volume insecticide fumigant is usually the best procedure, the fumigant will be pumped in to the loft through a hand held unit, this will be done from the loft hatch and when the loft is full of the fumigant the hatch is closed and sometimes sealed up for a period of about 2 days in order to keep the solution inside.
You may notice a different smell but this is harmless, however it is a recommendation that you ventilate fully once the treatment is complete.
